Intro and something on my mind...

Hello! My name is Dalia. I am 17 years old and I love art. The following journal will be about something that has been bothering me for a long time.
I hate socializing and I don't know why...
Well, "hate" is a strong word. I should say "I dislike socializing". For some season, around the beginning of 12th grade, I've become this shy, anti-social and dependant kid who envies those who are better at socializing than I am. I have become trapped in this bubble and cannot come out. I keep on thinking on how my life would've been better if I made different decisions. I have also lost my motivation into my passions like art...
I'm guessing that one of the reasons was because of a conflict with a long time friend (who shall not be named). No, I am not saying that it is entirely her fault. I do believe that I am responsible for my actions but in a conflict, everyone must somehow acknowledge their mistakes.
What I mean is that I don't like what I have become.
I think that I probably fear socializing more than dislike it. And I can't somehow find the real answer. The logical reason would be because of the fear of rejection and/or humiliation. It is true that nobody wishes for that. But I doubt that it would be the main reason.
I remember, when I was a kid, I would talk to anybody around me. I would start by saying "Hi!", with a smile. I ask myself "What happened to that care-free young girl who would talk to everyone?" and "Why did that kid become a shy and antisocial pussy? "
Since the beginning of Cegep, everytime I meet someone knew, I pressure myself to start a conversation with the person to avoid the awkward silence. And I try to not say something stupid that will make things even more awkward. I'm even to anxious to talk or to send a simple message to a friend.
I'm only 17. All this will probably mean nothing in a year. I'm just earning some life experience that can help me in the future. I am not depressed. I just want to find solutions.
In short, from the happy-go-lucky kid to the shy, anti-social pussy i've become, I need to make some changes. One day, I will finally smile at the world and be proud of myself.

Going to the Otakuthon for the first time!!
2- What is your favourite TV show right now?
I don't much TV. I usually watch animes online. I'm currently watching Bakuman and One Piece and I really enjoy them. But if I have to pick, it would be the Big Bang Theory and Modern Family.
3- If you were away from your country for a long time, what do you think you would like to eat when you come back?
Hmmm...my mother's cooking!
4- What is the furthest you've ever been from home?
Disney World in Orlando, Florida. I was in the plane for about 4 hours.
5- If you had to do one, would you be a police or a firefighter?
Neither! I wanna be a SUPERHERO! 8D ... Just kidding. A police officer!
6- What is your favourite sport to do?
Is playing Baseball on the Wii count as "doing a sport"? xDD If not, Badminton.
